What this is
The second ShopX buildathon, and the first one run with a partner. FireGroup joins GemCommerce on this one, which means two rooms’ worth of operators in the same space for a day.
The build is an AI ads intelligence system — the same problem Chris walked through in Shanghai three weeks earlier, but this time nobody watches a demo. You leave with the thing running.
A buildathon is a coffee chat that keeps its hands busy: same small-room rules, same nobody-is-selling-anything, except the afternoon ends with something on a live URL instead of something in your notes.
